Connecting Business
Strategy to IT Strategy
Business depends
more than ever on technology - business and technology
executives depend more than ever on each other. The gap
between them is real, and the future belongs to those who
bridge it.
Helping companies bridge this gap is our business.
The Beta Group is an international management consulting
and research firm. We are a resource to senior executives
seeking to understand how to manage and employ
information technology to support their business
strategies and improve business performance. We do this
by:
- Building
consensus among senior executives about the
strategic business use of technology.
- Identifying
high return-on-investment technology projects.
We help our clients answer the question:
- "How
can our business and technology people and
resources best work together to further increase
the value of our company?"
The Beta Group's practice is based on a way of
approaching IT decision-making and management called
Information Economics. Information Economics was
co-developed by Bob Benson (in a collaboration with
Marilyn Parker of IBM) as a tool for helping business
managers participate in planning and managing IT
functions of their companies.
Our commitment to our clients is to maintain a thought
leadership role in business and information technology.
Through our experience and research, we continue to
develop additional business-value methods and tools, used
successfully by clients throughout the world.
